Anik Bose is a seasoned technology investor and corporate strategist with 20 years of experience in venture capital and corporate development. He currently serves as a Managing Partner at BGV, an early-stage VC firm that has invested in AI-native startups since 2016. Anik also founded the Ethical AI Governance Group (www.EAIGG.org), a global community of over 5,000 AI practitioners committed to democratizing AI innovation and deployment. Under his leadership, the nonprofit has evolved from Foundational AI Governance to Actionable Deployment. He also leads EAIGG’s advisory board, the Human AI Council, a multidisciplinary group of 20+ tech executives, startup founders, investors, and academics shaping the global dialogue on democratizing AI innovation. Anik is the author of the industry’s first AI Native Playbook for Startup Founders. Anik’s AI investments include Drishti, Fiddler.ai, WorkHelix, Asenion, Constella Intelligence, and Webscale Networks.
Before co-founding BGV, Anik spent seven years as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at 3Com. There, he managed a $250M corporate venture fund, led a 20-member investment and business development team, and oversaw more than $1.5Bn in M&A and spin-out transactions. One of his most significant achievements was leading the creation and launch of H3C, a joint venture between 3Com and Huawei. Under his guidance, H3C became the fastest-growing enterprise networking company in Asia, achieving $500M in annual revenue and a $1.8B valuation in four years.
Anik holds an MBA from Boston College and a BA in Economics from the University of Delhi.
