Puja is the Executive Vice President of Marvel Fusion Inc., where she leads the company’s strategic, commercial, and technical initiatives in the U.S. She also serves on the Executive Board of the ATLAS laser facility, a public-private partnership among Marvel Fusion, Colorado State University, and the U.S. Department of Energy.

A nuclear engineer by training, Puja began her career contributing to the design and economic assessment of advanced nuclear reactors. She went on to hold senior leadership roles at General Atomics spanning technical program leadership,corporate strategy, and global partnerships-including driving major international technology collaborations. Her career has focused on advancing next-generation nuclear and fusion energy, while connecting science, technology, policy, and business. Puja holds an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge, a master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from UC Berkeley, and a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Nirma University in India.

Earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the Graduate School of Science at Osaka University. During the doctoral program, specialized in fast ignition fusion research and successfully demonstrated efficient fusion plasma heating, contributing to the future realization of fusion energy. Following graduation from Osaka University, pursued further fusion research at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
